If the buyer of the goods/receiver of services fails to make the payment within 45 from the date of acceptance of goods/services rendered then the defaulting entity is liable to pay 3 times the bank notified compound interest alongwith the defaulted amount.
Any MSME entity with a valid Udyam Registration can file cases under the MSMED Act, 2006.
Any reference/case filed under the MSMED Act, 2006 shall be decided within a period of 90 days from the date of the filing of such reference/case.
